Many chapters group sponsors into tiers — such as Platinum, Gold, and Silver — to reflect different sponsorship levels. This is handled through Logo Categories in the GS Logo Slider plugin.
Creating a tier or category
- Go to GS Logos → Add New Logo (or All Logos) in the WordPress admin sidebar.
- Look for the Logo Categories panel, usually in the sidebar of the logo editor.
- Click Add New Category, type the tier name (e.g. “Platinum”), and click Add.
- The new category is now available to assign to any sponsor.
Assigning a sponsor to a tier
- Open the sponsor (Edit or Quick Edit) from All Logos.
- Check the box next to the correct tier under Logo Categories.
- Save your changes.
A sponsor can belong to more than one category if needed, though most chapters assign one tier per sponsor.
Sponsors without a tier
It’s fine to leave a sponsor uncategorized (shown as —No categories— in the logo list) if your chapter doesn’t use tiers, or for sponsors that don’t fit a specific level.
Displaying sponsors by tier
Once sponsors are categorized, your chapter site can display them grouped by tier using the plugin’s shortcode settings. This is typically already configured by ASSP when your site is set up — if you need a new tier added to the display, or a section reordered, see the Query Settings documentation or submit a support request.
