Deleting a news post moves it to the Trash. It will no longer appear on the chapter website’s news feed.
Steps
1. Go to Posts → All Posts
From your WordPress dashboard, hover over Posts in the left sidebar and click All Posts.
2. Find the News Item
Locate the post you want to delete. Filter by the News category if needed.
3. Move to Trash
Hover over the post title and click Trash. The post is removed from the news feed immediately.
To Permanently Delete or Restore
Go to Posts → All Posts and click the Trash filter link at the top of the list. From there you can Restore a post or click Delete Permanently to remove it for good.
Warning: Permanent deletion cannot be undone. If you’re unsure, consider leaving the post in Trash or setting it back to Draft instead.
