Adding a New Sponsor

Follow these steps to add a sponsor logo to your chapter website.

Steps

  1. In the WordPress admin sidebar, go to GS Logos → Add New Logo.
  2. Fill in the sponsor details:
    • Company Name – the sponsor’s name, as it should appear on the site.
    • Logo – upload the sponsor’s logo image.
    • Company URL – the sponsor’s website address, including http:// or https://. Leave this blank if the sponsor doesn’t have a website.
    • Logo Categories – assign a tier or category (e.g. Platinum, Gold, Silver) if your chapter groups sponsors this way. See Organizing Sponsors by Tier or Category.
    • Secondary Image (optional) – a second logo to display on hover.
  3. Click Publish to make the sponsor live on your site.

Logo recommendations

  • Use a PNG file with a transparent background for the cleanest look.
  • Recommended size: 300 × 150px. Larger images will be scaled down automatically, but starting close to this size keeps sponsor logos consistent with one another.
  • Use tools like Preview (Mac), Paint (Windows), or Squoosh.app if you need to resize a logo before uploading.

Tip

New sponsors are added to whichever category you assign, and will appear automatically anywhere that category is displayed on your site — you don’t need to update the page itself.
