Download Monitor uses the standard WordPress publishing controls, so you can schedule a download to go live at a specific date and time rather than publishing it immediately.
Schedule a Download to Publish Later
1. Open the Download
Create a new download or open an existing draft via Downloads → All Downloads.
2. Open the Publish Panel
In the right sidebar, locate the Publish panel. Click the Publish date field (shown as “Immediately” by default).
3. Set a Date and Time
Choose the date and time you want the download to become available. The site uses the timezone configured under Settings → General.
4. Schedule
Click Schedule in the top-right corner. The download will go live automatically at the selected time without any further action needed.
To Reschedule or Cancel
Open the download, update the date and time in the Publish panel, and click Schedule again to save the change. To cancel scheduling, switch the status back to Draft and save.
Tip: Scheduling is useful for releasing documents tied to a specific date — such as making meeting minutes available the morning after a chapter meeting.
