Once members start signing up for your event, you can see who’s registered — and export the full list — from Event Espresso.
Viewing Registrations for an Event
- Go to Event Espresso → Events in the WordPress dashboard.
- Hover over the event you want to check. A row of links will appear underneath the event title.
- Click Registrations.
This opens the Overview tab, filtered to just that event, showing every person who has signed up.
Reading the Registrations List
Each row is one registrant. A few columns are worth knowing:
- Reg Status — a thin colored bar on the left of each row shows the registration status at a glance: green (Approved), blue (Pending Payment), orange (Not Approved), pink (Declined), gray (Cancelled). For free chapter events, you’ll almost always see green.
- Name — the attendee’s name. If someone registered a group and copied their own info to each ticket, the names may look identical — that’s expected.
- Att # — shows 1 of 1 for a single registration, or 1 of X for a group booking (X being the number of tickets in that group).
- Actions — icons on the right let you view full registration details, edit attendee info, resend the confirmation email, or view the transaction.
Tip: If a member says they registered but never got a confirmation email, click the resend icon in the Actions column rather than asking them to register again.
You can narrow the list using the filters above the table (this month, a specific month, registration status, etc.), and adjust which columns are shown or how many rows display per page from the Screen Options tab in the top-right corner.
For more on what each status actually means, see Understanding Registration Statuses.
Downloading Registrations (CSV)
If you need the registration list outside of WordPress — to build a check-in sheet, share it with a committee, or import it elsewhere — you can export it as a CSV file.
- From Event Espresso → Events, hover over the event and click Registrations (same as above).
- Scroll to the bottom of the registration list.
- Click the Registrations CSV Report button.
- Your browser will prompt you to save the file — choose a location and save it.
Once downloaded, the CSV opens in any spreadsheet program — Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers, etc.
Tip: The export includes everyone currently shown in the list, so apply any filters (like registration status) before clicking the CSV button if you only want, say, Approved registrants.
