Every ASSP chapter receives a fully-provisioned website as part of the ASSP WordPress Multisite network. Your chapter site comes with the tools and content infrastructure needed to communicate with members, promote events, and share resources — all maintained centrally by ASSP so chapter volunteers can focus on content rather than upkeep.
Core Pages
Each chapter site is provisioned with a baseline set of pages, ready to customize:
- Homepage with chapter branding
- About the Chapter
- Officers / Leadership roster
- Events
- News / Announcements
- Contact
Event Management
Event Espresso powers your event listings, registration, and attendee management — used for chapter meetings, PDCs, educational sessions, and social events. Both member and guest registration flows are supported.
Document Library
Download Monitor provides a managed library for meeting minutes, bylaws, sponsorship packets, scholarship applications, and other chapter documents. Files are tracked and can be restricted to logged-in users when needed.
Member Communications
- Email blasts: Chapter announcements are sent through Higher Logic / Real Magnet, which is synced with ASSP membership data so you're always emailing your current roster.
- Officer email accounts: Role-based addresses (such as
president@yourchapter.assp.org) are hosted via InMotion and accessible through RoundCube webmail. These addresses transfer with the role, not the individual — which means no scrambling to update logins when leadership turns over.
Contact and Custom Forms
Contact Form 7 handles standard contact forms, nomination forms, sponsorship inquiries, and award submissions. Additional forms can be requested for chapter-specific needs.
Officer and Volunteer Access
Approved chapter officers and volunteers receive WordPress Editor accounts, which allow them to update pages, post news, and manage events without needing developer-level access. Account requests are handled through the ASSP IT team.
What ASSP Maintains for You
You don't need to think about any of the following — it's handled centrally:
- Hosting, security, and daily backups
- WordPress core and plugin updates
- Theme maintenance and accessibility compliance
- Integration with Salesforce / Nimble AMS for membership data
Chapter volunteers focus on content. ASSP handles the platform.
