Real Magnet is an email marketing system that allows Chapters to contact larger groups of members while also ensuring that ASSP and the Chapters using it obey CAN-SPAM laws that require users opt-in to communication, are able to opt-out, have the appropriate information in email forms, deliverability rates stay high, etc. The CAN-SPAM Act imposes severe financial penalties for non-compliant commercial emails, with fines up to $51,744 per individual email (as of 2025).
